The Challenge of Digital Transformation

The real estate market applies due to the high margins as highly competitive. The aim was to create a competitive and conversion-optimized landing page which in all aspects should meet the requirements of a bank. More and more customers use mobile devices but don't want to miss the chance of a home of their own here either. The technical infrastructure also has to fit to the high security standards of the customer and ensure its compliance. Due to the high business value of the form, it was very important to achieve the greatest possible automated test coverage.

A digital solution for the marketing team

As a content management system for secure, simple and clear administration of all landing pages by the editors we chose the open source enterprise CMS TYPO3. With TYPO3 and individual deployment workflows from Browserwerk, the customer's short release cycles and fast closing of security gaps are guaranteed. To meet the complex requirements of form logic, Browserwerk developed its own PHP-based form framework which was implemented in the content management system. By the usage of automated tests in the form of a Selenium test server, it should be ensured that the logic and functionality is maintained after each deployment. Another goal was the optimization of loading times and Google PageSpeed in the frontend to reduce the bounce rate of visitors to a minimum. The used JavaScript sends the tracking of the individual form fields dynamically directly as an event to Google Analytics. This helps with A/B testing of the site. At the end of the form section a transmission to the in-house CRM system via API takes place, so that service centre staff can respond quickly to enquiries.

Conclusion & customer feedback

The new landing page offers the customer real added value in every respect. The number of inquiries could be increased within a very short time and due to Browserwerk's proven deployment pipelines and agile processes using Jira, Confluence, and shared project board, Browserwerk provided a unique transparency and fast communication channels on a professional level during the entire project duration.
